Everything we sell on this site is generated by artificial intelligence. We think you should know exactly what that means before you buy, so this page sets it out plainly.
When you create a murder mystery party game, an AI system writes it for you from the theme and the group you choose. The storyline, the characters and their backgrounds, secrets and relationships, the clues, the invitation, the in-game news article and the solution are all written by large language models. The character portraits, the theme cover artwork and the evidence photographs are produced by an image-generation model. Every game theme in our catalogue is created and published by a member of our team through our own admin tools before it is offered for sale, and we can edit or withdraw a theme at any time. The individual game generated for you is produced automatically and is not read by a person before it reaches you; it is checked by automated validation for solvability, character consistency and content suitability.
Cold Case Vault case files are fictional. The narrative documents and the imagery — including photorealistic portrait and booking-style photographs of suspects and victims who do not exist — are generated by AI, then screened by an automated evaluator and reviewed under our publication policy before release.
The cases used in our solo detective card game and in the free Daily Challenge are generated by an AI system and validated automatically for solvability before release. Your score, streak and accusation result are computed by fixed, deterministic game rules — no AI system evaluates, profiles or ranks you as a player.
Our articles are written by an AI system. Each one goes through an automated legal-risk, accuracy and safety screen. An article the screen clears can be published without a person reading it; an article the screen flags is held and reviewed by a person before publication. Each article page carries a notice saying so. Articles are general information and entertainment and must not be relied on as professional or factual advice.
All characters, names, businesses, locations and events in our games, case files and card-game mysteries are fictitious, and every portrait, mugshot, evidence photograph and document scan we supply is a synthetic image produced by an AI model. No image depicts a real person. Any resemblance to a real person, living or dead, or to a real place, business or event is unintended and coincidental.
Our product and article pages carry a machine-readable marker (<meta name="ai-generated" content="true">) alongside the visible notice you see on the page. Generated PDFs carry the same disclosure in their document metadata and in a printed note inside the file. Our product feed and our sitemap carry a machine-readable AI marker on the generated items they list.
Generative models can occasionally produce a name, place or detail that resembles something in the real world. If you believe anything we have published resembles you, a person you represent, or a business you operate, write to takedown@murdermysterygameai.com. We respond to every notice we receive. The full notice-and-action procedure is in Section 8A of our Terms & Conditions.
The formal disclosures are in Sections 7A, 7B, 7C and 7D of our Terms & Conditions, and how we handle your data during generation is in our Privacy Policy.
