Your difficulty is determined by your streak. Start as a Rookie and progress through 21 difficulty levels as you win. Each level increases the challenge with more suspects, red herrings, and lying witnesses.
Lost a game? If you have 100+ points and haven't used your continue this streak, you can spend 100 points to preserve your streak and try again at the same difficulty level.
